Explore medieval towns and remote Arctic communities on this spectacular voyage through the majestic fjords, stunning mountains and shimmering glaciers of Norway’s rugged coastline. Your journey starts from Bergen, the cultural gateway to the fjords. Head north to the medieval city of Trondheim, whose colourful history is reflected in its handsome civic architecture. Cross the Arctic Circle and continue north to the modern town of Bodo. The head through the glorious Lofoten Islands to their capital, Svolvaer.

Spend a relaxing morning at sea before arriving in Tromso, the capital of Arctic Norway. Modern shops and cafes provide a contrast to the stunning stained glass of the Arctic Cathedral, and the Polar Museum and Polaria Centre offer a fascinating insight into Arctic life over the centuries. Continue to Honningsvag, the portal to the spectacular North Cape. The vistas and sea life become more dramatic as you approach Kirkenes. Each season has its own unique beauty on the Norwegian coast, as spring and summer flowers give way to the red hues of autumn and glaciers reflect the dazzling rays of the sun. Stop at the world’s most northerly town, Hammerfest, and continue to Tromso where you have the chance to witness an unforgettable midnight concert at the Arctic Cathedral. The ship negotiates an intricate network of isles and inlets as you pass through the legendary Lofoten Islands, one of the most beautiful stretches of the Norwegian coastline.

Enter a world of legends and folklore as you cross the Arctic Circle and sail past the famed peaks of the Seven Sisters. Leave behind the Trodheimsfjord and continues past Hitra Island stopping briefly at Kristiansund and Molde before making a midnight call at Alesund. Your magnificent journey then ends in Bergen.
